"The firm sand
gives way beneath
my toes..."
Walking on the beach is a wonderful time for reflection and contemplation. The play of water on the sand is a prime example of the impermanent and ever changing experience that can be found on the beach.
I just loved the feel of the sand and the waves licking my toes, feet and ankles. What sand would be "mine" briefly as it stuck to my feet would quickly be reclaimed by the waves, over and over again, during my walks.
